Hello Gleeks. I’m back and I’ve got some exciting news. Looks like we will all be able to get our hands on “GLEE: The Music Presents Glease” a week early! Columbia Records is releasing the album, “GLEE: The Music Presents Glease” tomorrow November 6th. The actual “Glease” episode doesn’t air until next Thursday, November 15th.
So what does that mean for us? That means we can go buy the album, learn these GLEE-tastic versions of some of our favorite “Grease” tunes and be ready to hand jive along with the cast come next Thursday November 15th.
I got my hands on a copy of the album and I’ll have you know that it’s quite a fun little listen. Some of the songs are just what you would expect, but there are still a few surprises, including a male sung version of “Hopelessly Devoted To You”. As a musical buff myself, I’m digging the Glease versions of these fantastic tunes.
The episode will include a mixture of new and old cast members, as well as some vocals from Kate Hudson. Just check out the track list for yourself! It’s gonna be a good one folks!
